Is your switchboard safe?

Since 1991 Residual current devices (RCD's) have been made mandatory in Victoria for all new built homes. This means if you home is older than this date there is a high chance you do not have protection from electrocution in your home.

At Empire Electrics we prioritise safety for both our staff and customers. If you have any second thoughts about whether your switchboard is safe feel free to email us a photo and we will be able to tell you on the spot whether or not your switchboard has up to date electrocution protection.
